SK+/SPK+ Quick Gear Selection

Cyclic operation S5
Number of cycles
£ 1000/Stunde

Duty cycle
< 60% and < 20 min.*

1. Using servomotor characteristic data, determine
    the maximum motor acceleation torque:
   TMaxMotMot [NM]
2. Determine maximum acceleration toruqe at the
    gearhead output: T2b [NM]
    T2b = TMaxMot l i (ratio)
3. Compare the maximum acceleration torque just
    calculated with the permissible acceleration
torque T2b [NM] for the selected gearhead from
    Requirement:  T2b £ T2B

If not, choose another gearhead.

 4. Verifiy that the clamping hub
diameter (table on page 26) is
    OK for the selected servomotor.
5. Compare the motor shaft
length, LMot [mm], with the min.
and max. clamping hub depth in
    the dimensional sketches.
Continous operation S1

Duty of cycle
³ 60% or ³ 20 min.*

1. Calculated after checking for cyclical operation
    S5.

2. Determine the motor nominal torque: T1Mot [NM
    (in.lb)]

3. Determine the rated load torque at the
    gearhead output:

 T2n [NM] = T1Mot l i (ratio)
4. Compare the calculated rated
    load torque with the
    permissible rated torque T2n
    [NM] for the selected
    gearhead.
   Requirements: T2n £ T2N

If not, choose another gearhead.
5. Determnominal input speed
n1n in rpm and compare with
    permissible nominal input
    speed of the gearhead, n1N
    Requirements:  n1n £ n1N
6. Verify proper clamping hub
    diameter and motor shaft length
    as in steps 4 & 5 above (S5).
